The job


The Program Officer provides specialist arts support to the Art Gallery Team. This includes the coordination of gallery projects and exhibitions, use of council's financial systems and specialist handling of artwork.


The applicant


Applicants are expected to have specialist knowledge of the visual arts, including experience handling and cataloguing art works, assisting with the installation of exhibitions and assisting in the coordination of gallery curatorial and collection-based exhibitions, projects, and events.


Clerical and administration support experience including word processing, spreadsheets, accurate data entry and demonstrated use of financial systems is highly desirable.

Ø  Mandatory Criteria

o    Current Driver's License (Class C)

o    Blue card for working with children, or the ability to obtain a blue card
